FOR PEOPLE WHO SELL TO HAULIERS

Growing fleets are told to file nine weeks before the trucks arrive. We read the filings.

The Fleets pack tells you when an operator applies for a new licence, a bigger authorisation or a site it has not used before, in the area you serve. Growth means buying, and the application is the earliest public sign of it.

What you get

Growth events, on a map you recognise

One email per operating centre event near you. New applications, requests for bigger authorisation, and centres an operator has not used before, each with distance from your base and a link to the published notice.

Companies only, premises only. Sole traders are filtered out entirely, home addresses never appear, and only the operating centre goes in the alert. Clean prospecting data with the privacy work already done.

EXAMPLE ALERT · ILLUSTRATIVE, NOT A REAL BUSINESS

Application to increase authorisation

A licensed operator has applied to increase capacity at an operating centre 4.2 miles from you. If granted, authorisation at this centre will be up to 7 vehicles.

SOURCE · TRAFFIC COMMISSIONERPUBLISHED AT APPLICATION STAGELINKS TO THE NOTICE

Operators are told to apply at least nine weeks before they need the extra vehicles, and may not use them until the application is granted.

Who this is for

More vehicles means more of everything you sell

A bigger authorisation is not one purchase. It is a wave of them, and the application is your notice that the wave is coming.

Tachograph and compliance services

More vehicles means more calibration, more downloads and more compliance work. The application tells you demand is coming before the vehicles exist.

Vehicle sales, rental and leasing

An operator applying for bigger authorisation has decided to grow but may not have signed for the metal. That window, between decision and delivery, is yours.

Insurance and finance

Extra vehicles need cover and often funding. At application stage those conversations are open. At delivery they are closed.

Telematics, cameras and safety kit

Fitted per vehicle, specified fleet wide. A growing fleet is the exact moment specifications get revisited, and a new operating centre is a new install run.

Driver recruitment and training

New trucks need drivers, and nine weeks is exactly hiring lead time. The operator knows it, and so should the recruiter who calls first.

Tyres, servicing and fuel

Volume contracts scale with fleet size. A step change in authorisation is a step change in spend, and someone will win it.

What using it looks like

From application to conversation

The alert lands

An application near you, with the operator, the centre, the distance and the published notice itself.

You time your run

The nine weeks between application and trucks is your window. Early for the big decisions, later for the fit out.

You arrive informed

You know the site, the scale and the timing before the first conversation. Few callers arrive that prepared.

Where it comes from

Published at application, not at delivery

Anyone running goods vehicles over three and a half tonnes needs an operator licence, which sets how many vehicles they may run and from which sites. To grow, they must apply publicly first.

Applications and decisions are published by the Traffic Commissioner for every region. We read every issue, keep the operating centre events, classify them properly and place them on the map around you.

The nine week head start is not ours, it is the system's. Operators must apply before they grow and may not use extra vehicles or new centres until granted. All we do is make sure you are one of the few people who actually reads the notices.

Coverage is Great Britain, the Traffic Commissioner's jurisdiction.

Why it is worth it

Meet the fleet while it is still planning

By the time new trucks are on the road, their tyres, insurance, cameras, telematics and fuel cards are already bought. The application stage is where those decisions are still open. Nine weeks is a long head start in a trade where most sellers wait for the phone to ring.
