Brokers, lenders and investors usually hear about a new home or a change of provider from the market, after the fact. The register records each one with a date, and Care Change Alerts reads it for all of England every week.
It gives you each new home with its beds, each change of provider, each change in registered beds and each new rating, with the provider's company checked, so you decide which to look at first.

What changed. CQC registered Hazelbrook Care Home, Leicester LE3 1LF, on 28 August 2026, 80 beds, provider Priory CC75 Limited. No rating yet. It first appears in the CQC file dated 1 September 2026.
Where. Leicester LE3, East Midlands
Harrier Assessment: A registration is the first public date a home appears on the CQC register under a named provider. The register gives the date, the provider and the beds the location is registered for, which is the number the regulator expects a provider to staff against.
Check. Whether Priory CC75 Limited is a provider in your book, the 80 beds against the homes already in Leicester, and the registration date.

Does it show sale prices or valuations?
No. The register records providers, beds and ratings. A change of provider is not a sale.
Can I follow a list of providers?
Yes. A watchlist of company numbers is a setting, alongside the territory.
What area does it cover?
England, because the CQC register is England only. You choose the territory that matches the ground you serve.
Can I use this for sales?
Yes. Alerts name companies, never people, and use the home's address only. Your own marketing rules still apply.
When does it start?
Today. Start the fourteen-day trial, verify your address, and the first briefing is prepared for your area. Nothing is charged.
The trial
Judge it on your own area for fourteen days
For fourteen days you receive your first briefing, then two weekly briefings, and priority changes inside your area on the day they reach us, as alerts or one daily digest. No card is taken, and nothing continues unless you choose it.
The fourteen days start when your first briefing is sent. CQC publishes the care register once a month, so some weeks carry a great deal and others carry nothing. An update with nothing in it says so and lists everything it checked.
