Read
We keep dated copies of the official registers, so we can say what changed and when, as well as what is true today.
Check
Every business is matched to the Companies House register. Sole traders and partnerships are left out, and we log how many.
Sort
Fixed rules decide what kind of change each one is. We show the reasons, not a score.
Explain
Two parts, kept apart. The fact from the register, with its dates and a link. Then our reading of it, marked as ours and never as a regulator's finding.
Deliver
One email a week for each briefing, with the evidence attached. Same-day items where the briefing has them. Timing is stated on each briefing's page.
Correct
Write to hello@harriersignals.co.uk with the item reference. We check the source again, hold the item while we check, and tell everyone who received it if it was wrong.

An official source published something. We record it, keep its history and check the business and the place.
The signal
The fact matches your sites, your area or your trade, so it reaches you with the source attached and a reason written for you.
The decision
You check the account or call the site and find out if there is a real need.
How each briefing decides
Every running briefing links to a page that says how it decides, in plain words, with the current version and its date. The exact weights stay internal, and the evidence record attached to each email shows how every line was scored.

What we read
The Traffic Commissioner's bulletins and the DVSA operator licence register. The Care Quality Commission register. Companies House. The Gazette. The Food Standards Agency. The Charity Commission for charitable providers. We do not read review sites, job adverts, planning applications, occupancy or fees. Some are not licensed for this use and some are not published. No person named
The briefings name businesses, care homes and business addresses only. Registered offices are cut down to the postcode district and home addresses are never used. Harrier does not retain or display natural-person names or direct personal contact details in Estate Intelligence. Your own enquiry and any subscription hold your business contact details, which the privacy notice covers.
