CQC compliance support

A rating and a manager status are both public, dated register facts.

Consultancies and interim agencies usually hear about a home that needs them through a referral, weeks after the rating published or the manager status changed. The CQC register records both with a date.

The alert gives you both, in your territory, with the rating before and the provider's company checked, so you decide who to approach first.

HARRIER SIGNALS

From a real Care Change Alerts briefing

Manager status. Pondsmead Care Home, provider Pondsmead (Shepton Mallet) Limited, company 09334059

What changed. The CQC file dated 1 September 2026 shows no registered manager at Pondsmead Care Home, a 76-bed home rated Good. The file dated 4 August 2026 showed one.

Where. Somerset BA3, South West of England

Harrier Assessment: The registered manager status in the CQC file changed. A home without a registered manager shown must recruit or register one. The file records the status and the date, and Harrier carries the status only.

Check. Whether Pondsmead (Shepton Mallet) Limited is a provider you know, whether the home already has an interim arrangement, and how far Somerset BA3 is from your team.

The home's address and a map link.

Questions

Common questions

Does it tell me who the manager is?

No. No person is ever named. The register's manager status is shown as a status with a date.

Does it show the inspection report?

The alert links to the home's CQC page, where CQC publishes its reports.

What area does it cover?

England, because the CQC register is England only. You choose the territory that matches the ground you serve.

Can I use this for sales?

Yes. Alerts name companies, never people, and use the home's address only. Your own marketing rules still apply.

When does it start?

Today. Start the fourteen-day trial, verify your address, and the first briefing is prepared for your area. Nothing is charged.

The trial

Judge it on your own area for fourteen days

For fourteen days you receive your first briefing, then two weekly briefings, and priority changes inside your area on the day they reach us, as alerts or one daily digest. No card is taken, and nothing continues unless you choose it.

The fourteen days start when your first briefing is sent. CQC publishes the care register once a month, so some weeks carry a great deal and others carry nothing. An update with nothing in it says so and lists everything it checked.

Chris reads every first briefing himself.
