A fall and a request to be re-inspected are two different moments, and both are public.
Consultants get called in either straight after a poor rating or when a business wants the re-inspection to go well. The register records both moments. Most consultants hear about neither until a referral.
The alert tells you which is which, in your territory, so you decide who needs a consultant now and who needs one before the inspector returns.

Does it show the inspector's report?
No. The report is not published. A freedom of information request to the council is the route, and the alert gives you the council and the date.
Can I watch premises I already advise?
Yes. A watchlist of premises is a setting, alongside the territory.
What area does it cover?
England and Wales through the Food Standards Agency's register. You choose the territory.
Can I use this for sales?
Alerts name businesses, never people, and use the premises address only. Where we cannot match a company the alert says so. Your own marketing rules still apply.
When does it start?
