Cold calls to food businesses go nowhere most days. The day after a published fall is not most days. The rating is public and dated, and it usually appears weeks after the inspection, so the business is still dealing with it.
It gives you the premises, the fall, the date, and the company behind the premises, so you decide who to approach.

Does it tell me whether pests were the cause?
No. The inspector's report is not published and the alert never infers a cause from a number.
Can I see the three component scores?
The register publishes three component scores for most premises. Which of them the alert carries is being decided with the first subscribers.
What area does it cover?
England and Wales through the Food Standards Agency's register. You choose the territory.
Can I use this for sales?
Alerts name businesses, never people, and use the premises address only. Where we cannot match a company the alert says so. Your own marketing rules still apply.
When does it start?
