Estate Intelligence, a use case for operations directors and regional managers
Know which homes need a closer look this month, and why.
An operations director and a regional manager ask the same question of the outside world.

This is a use case for Estate Intelligence, not a separate briefing. Same briefing, same coverage, same price. This page reads it for the question operations directors and regional managers ask, and the Estate Intelligence page carries the coverage, the price and the trial.
Twenty local markets, one central team, and the record moves every day.
Around every home you run, ratings publish, managers change, homes open and leave the register. Regional managers hear about it from a home manager, a commissioner or a family, usually weeks late and always piecemeal. Nobody in a central team has time to read every register for every home.
Around which of our homes did something change that deserves a call this month. Estate Intelligence answers it home by home every week, with the register fact, the reason it may matter and the question to put to the home. It is not an internal performance score, and it never judges the care inside any home.
What a week tells you
Something at one of your own homes
A published rating, a change in registered manager status, a change in beds. Always first, with what to check and who at the home owns the response.
A similar home nearby got weaker
A lower rating, a home leaving the register, a change of provider. A reason to watch enquiries and referrer contact at your nearest home.
A similar home nearby got stronger, or new beds arrived
A higher rating or a new registration within reach. A reason to watch occupancy and enquiry sources.
Nothing changed
Most homes, most weeks. Listed by name, so a regional manager knows the home was checked and found quiet.
How each of you would use it
Operations director
Reads the estate actions first, then the opportunities and pressure by region, and takes the quiet list as confirmation that the rest was checked.
Regional manager
Reads their region's homes, uses the check line as the agenda for the next call with each home manager, and raises a comparison they disagree with.
Central to regional
The weekly briefing goes to operations. Regional managers receive their homes' items. The monthly page and call cover the whole estate.
Three things to check first
Who owns the response
For an item at your own home, confirm who is acting on it and that the register entry matches what you know.
What the local team is seeing
For a change nearby, ask the home manager about enquiries, the waiting list and referrer contact over the next month.
Whether the comparison is right
Every nearby home is scored for similarity before it is called a competitor. If your team reads a market differently, say so and the pair is looked at.
A real briefing
The first briefing a trial opens with, with the homes anonymised. Covering the estate's record to 18 September 2026, for a group with 31 homes, prepared 25 September 2026. The start of it is below, in the form the email takes. No sign-up. The homes are anonymised here. Subscribers see each one named, with its CQC link.

Common questions
Does it score my homes?
No. It sorts external changes into classes and says why each may matter. There is no internal performance score, and nothing judges the care inside a home.
How is a nearby home judged similar?
On nursing status, specialisms, distance and size, from the CQC register's own details. Homes below the line are recorded as nearby but not similar and stay in the evidence record.
What does a quiet week tell me?
That the homes were checked and nothing in the record moved. It does not prove that nothing changed in the market, only that nothing was published.
Which of my staff receive it?
Whoever you name. Shared addresses work best. Operations usually receives everything, regional managers their own homes.
What does it cost?
It is set by how many homes you run. £200 a month plus VAT, £240 in total, for 3 to 10 homes, £400 plus VAT, £480 in total, for 11 to 25, then £700 plus VAT, £840 in total, for 26 to 50. More than 50 homes, ask and we will quote. Every price is introductory, held for twelve months. The trial comes first, with no card.
Try it for 14 days, free
No card required. Your first briefing, then two weekly briefings. Choose whether to subscribe when your trial ends.
Ask about your estate
This sends Chris a question. It does not start anything and nothing is charged. The trial is the button above, online, with no card. Use this if you would rather ask about your own estate first.
