A real example, read for hygiene training

What changed. The published hygiene rating for Cody's Italian Shop Ltd, 530 Bearwood Road, Smethwick B66 4BX, fell from 4 to 2. Inspected 7 July 2026, published between Harrier's records of 7 and 12 August 2026. The previous rating comes from Harrier's own dated copies of the register.

Check. The company behind the premises, how big the fall was, and the publication window, because the inspection was 7 July and the fall appeared in August.

Does it tell me what training is needed?
No. The report is not published and the alert never infers it from a number.
What area does it cover?
England and Wales through the Food Standards Agency's register. You choose the territory.
Can I use this for sales?
Alerts name businesses, never people, and use the premises address only. Where we cannot match a company the alert says so. Your own marketing rules still apply.
